StarStake – Designing at Scale

About the Project
StarStake was a blockchain based platform built to connect creators and communities. I was the lead and only designer on the project. My responsibility was to bring the entire product to life, from the first screen to a fully functioning ecosystem.

The Challenge

StarStake was a brand new idea. There were no existing patterns or references for the kind of framework it wanted to build. The goal was to design a platform that felt both accessible for first time users and powerful enough for advanced creators.

My Role

I handled the full design lifecycle:

• Created more than 500 screens across desktop and mobile

• Built the Brandclub framework dashboard from the ground up

• Established a design system with reusable components for speed and consistency

• Designed complex flows including onboarding, transactions, and community tools

• Worked closely with the founding team to translate ideas into usable features

Obstacles

• Designing for blockchain meant balancing clarity with technical accuracy

• Complex financial flows that had to feel simple to non technical users

• A brand new concept with no direct competitor to benchmark against

My Approach

I broke the work into systems instead of isolated screens. The Brandclub dashboard became the anchor, guiding all flows and components. Every screen was tested for clarity, actionability, and consistency. I focused on making blockchain features feel as natural as using a traditional app.
